Surprise

Visit this space often.   We have no idea yet what you will find from week to week, but we guarantee that it will be worth your while. 

Since we live in Santa Ynez Valley (California), which is the heart of the wine country in Santa Barbara County and the location where the movie, Sideways, was filmed, it seems fitting that some of our Surprise gifts should be wine from one of our more than 70 local wineries.  

Our local labels include: Firestone, Fess Parker Winery, Gainey Vineyard, Sanford Winery, Lucas and Lewellen, plus a host of other equally fine vintners, including many private labels, so it seems logical that wine should be included in our Surprise! Section of The Wisdom of America’s Elders.

Here’s The Deal

We would like you to encourage as many seniors as you can to log onto and explore The Wisdom of America’s Elders website.  The only catch is that to win a prize you and they must register, simply by giving us your name, email address and your zip code.  Nothing more.  No personal information will be required.

When the program starts, all you will have to do is log in.

Prizes may be wine from one of Santa Barbara Country’s many wineries or wine tasting shops, Danish cookies or chocolates from Solvang, which known as the Danish capital of America, or perhaps some other special gift from our area.

That’s it.

Prizes will vary from week to week and month to month – and may be anything, depending on what looks interesting to us.  Could be wine, could be something from our local Chumash Indian Casino, could be something from Solvang, or perhaps a gift certificate of some sort, or it could be something that is being offered by another website that we may establish a relationship with.

We will let you know when the method for selecting winners has been decided.
